Lk Singhania Education Centre - Gotan

The LK Singhania Education Centre at Gotan came into existence as a full-fledged, premier residential school in July 1987 as a realization of the values and dreams of the great visionary, Late Lala Kamlapat Singhania. The school is Senior Secondary, co-educational English medium affiliated (1730051) to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Accommodating 1650 students including 950 boarders from all parts of the country and internationally as well, the LK Singhania Education Centre is a unique mix of the traditional and modern. This centre is a multicultural, co-educational boarding school where traditions, religions and beliefs from all walks of life are respected and celebrated. The aim is to nurture each child individually to help them become global citizens.

Although the LKSEC school was initiated in 1984 with the aim to provide education to the children of JK White Cement employees only, with the great social commitment of the JK organization, it meant that the school should be expanded to provide quality education to the children of one and all with the non-profit motive. Since then, the school has grown from strength to strength in every sphere of education as well as in sports and extracurricular activities to provide an integrated learning environment for all its students. The prominent transformational phase in its history came in 1987 when the centre started providing boarding facilities to students from all over India and abroad. The school is fully equipped with ultramodern educational facilities to ensure that all the needs of students for a truly holistic development are met with. All types of co-curricular activities, sports and games are highly encouraged for a perfect all-round development of students.

Location Gotan is a Small Hamlet in the District of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The school is located in a beautiful campus. Gotan is an industrial township and easily Accessible by road and broad gauge rail from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Agra Lucknow, Chandigarh, Kalka etc. Gotan railway station is about 2 kms from the school. Bus services from Nagaur and Ajmer are very frequent and easily available via Merta City. The nearest aerodrome is just 110 Kms. away from jodhpur

At the LK Singhania Education Centre, we are confident that our children see themselves as great thinkers, successful learners and future leaders. Being a premier co-educational boarding school, we also inculcate values in our students to sustain and enhance rich cultural heritage and also prepare young learners to keep pace with challenges to come. The school campus houses nine fully furnished and well facilitated hostels. Each of the hostels houses the dormitories and separate rooms for the inmates and some accommodation for the staff. The housemasters & housemistress reside in the same hostel along with students. They make sure that the inmates are inculcated with values of good living that they can be proud of – from keeping their rooms clean to making their beds to folding their clothes.

The housemasters also ensure that the boarders follow the timetable and no class is missed. The hostels are like big families. There is discipline, learning, camaraderie, sharing and a lot of caring, all of which are important learning tools for children. It is left to the discretion of the housemaster to provide anything to the child if he/she thinks it essential for him/her. In cases where a child needs help in certain subjects, arrangements are made by the Headmaster to ensure that he/she receives it. Teachers are made available for the boarders so that in case they have any query or doubt, they can get it clear with the teachers available.

Besides these, every House has Pool Tables, TT Tables, LEDs, reputed newspapers and fortnightly magazines for the boarders. Spoken English classes, remedial classes, to help the slow learners are the regular features of the Hostels. Booster classes are arranged for accentuating the bright students’ performance.

Admission is granted to class l to IX and XI subject to the Availability of seats. No admission will be Granted to class X and XII.
ADMISSION TO CLASS XI Students seeking admission to class XI ( Humanities, Commerce And Science streams ) should get their names registered and send An attested copy of the marks-sheet of class X Board Examination Within a week of the declaration of the result. Admission to class XI Is made on the basis of admission test conducted in the School in The last week of March, Every Year. The Principal reserves the right To accept or reject any application for admission without assigning Any reason.
