Arise n Shine - Adyar - Chennai

Arise ‘n’ Shine was established in 2003 to provide a unified program with Indian and Western systems for Asian and American children in North America to prepare them to meet global standards and expectations. The school is headquartered in South East Michigan near the University of Michigan. In 2009, Arise ‘n’ Shine launched its first International School in South India.

The activities at Arise ‘n’ Shine were carefully researched and designed by parents and teachers with a practical approach to child development in terms of real life problem solving to creative thinking and exploration.

Our home grown brand curriculum, Explore ‘n’ Shine, is evidence based and is derived from the best methods of Maria Montessori, Reggio Emilia and NAEYC.

Children have to be observed and nurtured based on their developmental milestone in each area within a specific time frame. Their brain grows very rapidly during the first several years of life. They have high energy levels. They want to do things through exploration. We give an opportunity to all children to explore their areas of interest during Circle Time, Science, Art, Music, Library, Math, Home Living, Computer Science and Outdoor play. The class rooms are designed and arranged with exploratory items in each area. This will allow the child to explore activities that interest them the most and also develop curiosity in other activities.
