Curriculum
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) comprises of the Reception Year and also the Nursery. The EYFS Curriculum guides the learning and teaching process and helps us to establish an optimum learning environment in our classes. We believe that to engage, achieve and make positive contributions students must be healthy, secure and safe. We value all of these needs and understand their contribution to the development of happy students in an enjoyable, encouraging and stimulating atmosphere. The learning environment combines high standards with a broad and rich curriculum. We use a variety of play-based and structured activities striking a fine balance between both teacher- led and student-initiated play. Play underpins all development and learning for young children. Most children play spontaneously and it is through play that they develop intellectually, creatively, physically, socially and emotionally. 'The Foundation Years' is a holistic educational program using the concepts of ‘Multiple Intelligences’ and ‘Individual Learning Style’ founded by Howard Gardner. This program is designed in a way that allows infants and toddlers to grow spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. The Foundation Years retains a vibrant, loving atmosphere which is led by positive energy. This is the first program that was started by the school. Here emphasis is on creative thinking and creative writing. We believe that children learn best through play. Therefore our specialists facilitate various hands-on experiences to develop every child’s multiple intelligence centres as it has the ability to awaken the joy of creative expressions in children, be it art, music or any other field. With a little effort we may unlock a bit of “Einstein and Mozart” in every child.

The progress of each student is monitored through observations, work samples, photographs, e-portfolios and meetings with parents.

We understand the need of providing day care to the children who have both the parents working.The need of the hour supports the family structure where both the parents invest in their respective careers or ambitions to build the best nest for themselves and their child. We function as a support system which enables the child to grow in an environment that provides the care as any home would. The Canary Cubs Day Care offers organized, age appropriate and systematic structure to the children and not only caters to the physical development but also creates opportunity for better learning. Under the supervision of mature and trained members the day Care is of our utmost priority. Safe, Secure with CCTV monitoring.
