Canvas is an exemplary preschool situated in multiple regions in Jaipur and other cities. We are proud to educate about 500 children varying from 18 months to 5.5 years of age. We take special care of each and every child, and create a path filled with fun and learning to help in your little ones’ transition to formal schooling.

Canvas has a close-knit staff whose only goal is your child’s positive growth. This group of lively people includes experienced teachers/mentors, grooming staff, subject experts, support staff and a central support team. Using our collective experience, we have created a unique model which imparts all the basic skills and development your children needs in order to be a successful member of the society. We believe schooling should be full of smiles and laughter and not quietness and boredom. We encourage our young ones to play, dance, sing, and have fun while they learn important lessons that can truly change their life. We just don’t teach children; we create a unique environment, where children can explore life and the many fun adventures that happen every day.

Canvas has a specialized grooming model for different age groups. We also have a separate model for both boys and girls. We believe that boys and girls are unique in their own ways, and they need a tailor-made program model to suit them well. Children grow up so fast, that is why when educating them we have to consider a personalized model for each age group. The model gradually evolve, to suit the skill needs of developing children. The class models for different age groups are as follows :

Toddler - 18 months to 2 Yrs:
Children are encouraged to play and explore the world around them, enhancing their sensory experience.
Children sing songs to improve their listening skills.
Children form the concept of "self" - and are able to identify themselves.

Playgroup - 2 Yrs to 2.5 Yrs:
Children are familiar with the concepts of alphabets and colours, and basic mathematical concepts such as shapes and numbers.
Children are able to improve their creative skills with art and craft activities.
A theme is introduced every week, and activities based on the theme are carried out.

Nursery - 3 Yrs - 3.5 Yrs:
Children are introduced to phonics and letter sounds.
Pre-writing practices such as making marks on paper are introduced.
Colouring worksheets and number writing practices are carried out.

KG - 4 Yrs to 4.5 Yrs:
Cursive writing is introduced with lines and curves that will later on help in teaching children how to write in a beautiful handwriting.
Elaborate math worksheets and number blocks are used to improve their mathematical skills.
Phonic levels are improved so children are ready to read.

Prep - 5 Yrs to 5.5 Yrs:
Group learning is encouraged, as the teachers & children work together to make the child understand how his/her behaviour affects others.
Children are exposed to more environmental concepts in order to develop their logical reasoning and independent thinking skills.
Children are encouraged to read more, for an easy transition to formal schooling.

The PSED approach ensures that the child is confident and self-assured in managin his/her behavior, makes friends with other kids and shares his/her time with them throught interactions and games. It is essential for the child to be more comfortable in a social settings.

The specific development areas are more focused and academically oriented since after 3 years and with the development of primary areas, the kids are ready to understand, relate, create reasoning in their minds and remember things. The very seeds of literature, mathematics and science are laid down in the child at this stage and thus, the specific development areas prove to be crucial.
