Champaka Academy is the educational initiative of Champaka Educational and Cultural Trust®, founded in 2006 by Smt. Nagalakshmi P.K. and her husband Sri. Nagarajan Srinivasan, with the aspiration to impart high quality academic and cultural education to children. Champaka Academy started playgroup & pre-nursery at Kuvempunagar in 2006. In 2011, it expanded to offer LKG and UKG along with day care facility from 8.30 am – 6 pm at the new premises in Ramakrishna Nagar, with bigger space and augmented infrastructure. The Activity Centre was started in 2012 to instill creative arts education and exposure to hobbies. In 2017, Champaka Academy setup its second centre at Hebbal, offering the full range of child care services. Champaka Academy is recognized by Dept. of Education, Govt. of Karnataka.

Champaka Academy is a Montessori school with an Indian soul, providing holistic foundation education to Preschool and Kindergarten children since 2006. We believe in your child being multi-dimensional and provide an ideal setup for that. In our preschool, your child will develop cognitive, physical, linguistic and visual skills while imbibing strong Indian cultural ethos. Social and emotional development is integrated into our curriculum to help your child blossom into a confident and smart personality.

Champaka Academy has two centres – Ramakrishna Nagar and Hebbal. The Ramakrishna Nagar centre serves children in the surrounding areas including Kuvempunagar, Jayanagar, Saraswathipuram, TK Layout, Vivekananda Nagar, Sriramapura, Sharadadevi Nagar, Nivedita Nagar, Dattagalli, BEML Layout, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bogadi etc. The Hebbal Centre (near Hampi Circle) is within easy reach of localities including Hebbal, Vijayanagar, Lakshmikantha Nagar, Kumbara Koppal, Basavanagudi, etc. We have tie ups with transport providers to ferry children with safety and care, under lady caretaker supervision. Aligning with our motto “Unlock the potential”, we strive to provide every child the knowledge and opportunity to explore their abilities and talent.

We use Montessori and traditional methods to impart high quality teaching. Our teaching systems and processes are improvised continuously to distill and strengthen best practices of imparting knowledge to improve overall abilities of students. Unlike typical franchise preschools, Champaka Academy is unique in offering a syllabus that blends the typical Montessori syllabus with elements of cultural and value based learning so as to make learning holistic for the young minds.

We also provide Daycare services (8.30 am – 6.00 pm) and Hobby Classes for all round development through a thriving Activity Centre, to instill the joy of creative arts in young minds. We conduct Indian classical dance classes (Bharatanatyam), music classes (Carnatic), art classes (Drawing and Painting) as well as Yoga classes.

Champaka Academy offers a Preschool with passionate Montessori trained teachers with fluency in English & other languages to take care and teach every child. Teacher student ratio of 1:10 ensures adequate individual attention to children. We believe giving the child an enjoyable environment to learn and giving exposure to wide range of aspects to increase their curiosity and develop the urge to learn new topics.
