Situated in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai; MLSI is an independent, co-educational school operating under the International Baccalaureate (IB) format and recognized by the government of Maharashtra, offering Primary Years and Middle Years Programme. With world class features and facilities and the aims and ideology of the International Baccalaureate as its foundation, MLSI seeks to work with its students and their parents to create a learning environment that will prepare children for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

The aim of all IB programmes is to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world.

Primary Years Programme: The programme aims to develop appropriate attitudes, including appreciation, commitment, confidence, cooperation, creativity, curiosity, empathy, enthusiasm, independence, integrity, respect and tolerance amongst students.

Middle Years Programme: The MYP Curriculum Model reveals how students must study at least one subject strand within each of the eight MYP subject areas.

Diploma Programme: The Diploma Programme prepares students for university and encourages them to ask challenging questions, learn how to learn, develop a strong sense of their own identity and culture, develop the ability to communicate with and understand people from other countries and cultures.

International pre-school: MLSI is a pioneer in early childhood care and education, we are not just a preschool but a place where children get an outstanding education through the holistic based curriculum. Children here are nurtured from an early age. The programme fosters social, aesthetic and motor skills in young children.

Learning Spaces These are the most critical spaces of all. They are designed keeping in mind, the requirements of a child’s learning. They are dynamic in nature and can be used for a multitude of purposes. Often, classrooms are decorated with work done purely by students. A variety of learning aides are also kept, which are then updated regularly to match current learning objectives. Tell children, and they will forget. Teach them, and they will remember. Involve them, and they will learn. This is the guiding philosophy behind our labs. The Science labs encourage students to do hands-on learning. The Design and Technology lab is the hub of creativity. The Apple Lounge and ICT (Information Communication Technology) lab are designed to help students and teachers research and learn through technology.

The library has an expansive collection of books. The students can explore new authors and books in the well-stocked library.

Sports Infrastructure Sports doesn't just build one’s character, it reveals it. Which is why, developing holistic skills and abilities is a key promise to all parents. Mount Litera School International offers a range of sports like squash, basketball, badminton, table tennis, mini soccer, outdoor play, and aerial silk among others. Our huge, 45,000 square feet indoor sports arena brings out the best sportsmanship of our students. This indoor play area can also be converted into a place for performances and exhibition of students’ work. In addition, there are indoor studios for yoga, gymnastics and dance as well as for chess and Lego.

Clubs and Extra-curricular activities Our students engage in many sports and creative activities through our after school programmes. These provide an opportunity to explore, engage and excel in activities of their choice. Students may choose from a range of sports and artistic pursuits. In this, they are carefully guided by professional coaches and instructors who train our students to achieve high standards in their chosen fields. Mount Litera School International works with the coaches to identify and set specific learning outcomes in each of the activity. Transportation The School has private air-conditioned buses that are equipped with GPS, security cameras and a female bus attendant. This provides students with a safe and pleasant way to get to and fro from school. We contract local bus companies to service a variety of routes and offer different bus stops for student pick-up and drop-off. We encourage parents to use our bus system in order to be environmentally-friendly as well as reduce congestion at the school.
